Navigating GAPS Daily Journal
Track your experience, spot patterns, and accelerate your progress on the GAPS Nutritional Protocol.
Memory alone is not reliable for clearly figuring out our reactions and patterns. This daily journal is your ally in finding what’s working best for you on the GAPS Protocol, along with your pattern of detox and healing reactions, so you’ll know you’re on track and making progress.
I designed the Navigating GAPS Daily Journal to be fast and comprehensive for you.
The journal guides you to begin with your goals, symptoms, and a snapshot of where you are now. Then helps you track what you eat and do for 90-days with checkboxes and write-in areas for:
- Healing foods and what you eat throughout the day
- Lifestyle activities
- Bowel movements
- Detox baths
- Symptom and resilience ratings
- Space for additional notes or a daily gratitude list
- Menstrual and moon phase tracking, if they are applicable to your patterns
When you arrive at each 30-day Reflection page, you’ll easily flip back and see what you ate and did each day, along with your symptoms, stools, and other patterns. You’ll find it simple to spot changes, note what’s working well and what’s not, and see your progress unfold. The addition of lined pages gives you space to write a snapshot of how you’re feeling now, or to write new areas of focus or experiments you’ll make in the next 30 days.
The end of the journal brings a 90-day Reflection section where you can free write notes about what’s changed overall, looking back at each 30-day Reflection to gather up any themes you’ve spotted.
Through these 30 and 90-days reviews you’ll understand where to go slow and what parts of GAPS you can integrate quicker.
This journal is the perfect companion to the GAPS Journaling video presentation created by Body Wisdom Nutrition and is designed to be started on any date you choose.
Wire-bound, 6.5 by 9 inches, lays flat, plastic-free.
Jennifer Scribner, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Certified GAPS Practitioner, developed and refined her GAPS journaling method through working with her one-on-one clients at Body Wisdom Nutrition, the private nutrition practice she began in 2011.
“This journal is used to record the variety of foods and activities that I like to track for myself and review with my clients. It’s made the detective work on GAPS so much simpler.”
